What is Flop Poker?

Flop Poker is a poker variant I have seen in many of the casinos in Biloxi. I've had reports of the game in other parts of the country too, like Atlantic City and Indiana. The game is easy to learn, community cards cause players to often win or lose in unison, and there is a possibility of a large win. A unique feature is the pot bet, which carries a zero house edge.

In poker, particularly in variants that use community cards, such as Texas Hold 'em and Omaha Hold 'em, the 'flop' refers to the action of dealing the first three face-up cards to the board, and it also refers to the cards themselves.

The flop is one of the most crucial moments in any hand of poker. In Texas Hold 'em, the player knows 71 percent of his or her hand at the flop, and the most important decisions in the hand will take place based on that data.

How to Play Flop Poker?

The Game ? Play starts when each Player makes both a “Pot” and “Ante” bet. Players will receive a 3-card starting hand and a 3-card community “Flop” to complete their 5-card hand. Players will use all 3 hold cards and only 2 community cards for the final 5-card hand. The Players are playing for a pay table of a pair of Jack’s or better.

Ante Bet ? The Ante Bet must be made to start the game. This bet allows the Player to receive a 3-card starting poker hand to play in the game. The Ante Bet wins even money on all hands that qualify for the house pay table.

Flop Bet ? The Player will make the Flop Bet after the 3-card hand has been evaluated. If the Player wishes to continue against the casino for the house Pay table odds, the Flop Bet is made. If the Player chooses not to make the Flop Bet, Then the Ante Bet is surrendered and the Player will only play for the Players’ Pot money.

Pot Bet ? Pot Bet is made before the start of the game along with the Ante Bet. The Pot bet must equal the minimum bet requirement posted on the table sign. The Pot Bet winner is the Player with the highest value 5-card poker hand at the end of the game. 100% of the Pot money is awarded to the Player with no casino commission. 스포츠토토존

Rules of the Game:

Game uses a single deck of cards and all hands are scored according to traditional poker rules.

Play starts with the player making an Ante wager and a Pot wager. The ante wager may be any amount subject to table limits. The Pot wager is always the table minimum, which in my experience is usually $5.

Each player gets three cards dealt face down. The player may look at his own cards but sharing of information is not allowed.

Player has two options, raise or fold. If the player folds he forfeits his Ante but but retains his cards for purposes of the Pot bet. If player raises it is in the form of a Flop bet equal to his Ante bet.

The dealer then deals a three card flop face up. These are community cards and may be used by all players.

The dealer will determine the best poker hand using the player's three cards and any two of the flop cards. If the player has at least a pair of jacks the Ante wager will pay even money and the Flop bet according to the pay table below.

Finally, the player with the highest poker hand, again using his own three cards and any two flop cards, shall win all Pot bets. If two or more player
